Welcome to Mike Allison' s website.
This is the site for the pre-war MG enthusiast!
Mike Allison has a life-time of interest devoted to maintaining and running the wonderful pre-war MG cars, and particularly those fitted with the OHC engine built in the period 1928-1936. Not only that, but as a engineer, worked for the MG Car Company at Abingdon 1964-72, subsequently moving to other work in the British Leyland Corporation finally resigning in 1976 to pursue a life as a self employed engineer, restoring firstly MGB's and Midgets, and laterly his beloved pre-war MG cars for clients all over the world. He retired in 2003, and now works on a consultancy basis.
Mike was one of the founder members of the MG Car Club Triple-M Register, and its original Secretary, from 1961-71. He was Chairman for 25 years years, retiring in 2001, when he was honoured with the title "Honorary Life President". He has served on the Committees of South East, South West, and Midland Centres of the MG Car Club, and was one of the original signatories of the Articles of Association to form MG Car Club Ltd in 1968, and served on the MG Car Club Council for many years.
